God has blessed our church with an amazing building which stands in a prime location in the heart of the town. However, our premises are not without their challenges. Our buildings are mostly unconnected meaning we have to leave one building to enter another room, including the toilets. Accessibility is an issue, currently wheelchair users can only access the church via the entrance at the back and the 6 steps at the front of the church are a challenge to many.

Over the last two years we have been considering how we could make changes to our buildings to make sure they are fit for purpose both now and in the future and that they are safe, welcoming and accessible to all.

To establish what is possible from an architectural and planning perspective a feasibility study has been completed which includes plans being drawn up to show what could be achieved. These plans have also been used by surveyors to provide an estimated cost of the project and a development fund has been launched.

As a church we continue to seek God’s guidance as we move forward with this exciting project.
