Back To Church
Currently there is the opportunity for those who want and feel comfortable to meet together at the church for our morning service.
The service begins at 10.30 am and lasts for approximately 50 minutes.
It is necessary for those who want to come to the service at church to book in advance so that we know the number of people attending. For more information please contact the church by email.
We are required by the Government to keep the details of those who attend for 21 days to assist with Track & Trace. There will also be a QR code for those who are using the App on their smart phone.
The current Government slogan of Hands, Face and Space reminds us that hands must be sanitised on entering the church building, face coverings must be worn throughout the service and whilst indoors (unless you are exempt), and that social distancing should be maintained.
Those coming to the service will be directed to a seat. We are unable to sing although there will be songs and words projected on the screen. We will not be taking up an offering in the usual way however there will be a collection point for those who wish to give. Please bring your own Bible and drink if you would like these. Children should stay in the care of their parents.
We are advised that following the service people should not linger on the church property.
If on the Sunday you are planning to come to church you have a temperature or feel unwell, or if you have been in contact with someone who has the symptoms of Coronavirus you should not come to church. We all understand the importance of this in our care for one another.
Sunday Services online will continue. The service from the church beginning at 10.30 am will be a live stream which will run in real time.
The recording of the service will be available later on the Sunday for those who want to join the service that way and will continue to be available on the church website as it is now alongside all our previous Sunday online services.
DVD’s of the services will continue to be provided and circulated.
None of us know with any certainty the course that Covid 19 will take during the coming months and what further regulations and restrictions may be necessary. As a church we will continue to assess our services and activities in the light of Government advice and ongoing developments.
We are grateful to the Lord for His help during these extraordinary times and thankful for the means, whether physically or digitally, by which we can share together in worship.
“Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”
Isaiah 41 v 10.
