Are Birds Dinosaurs? How Birds Evolved From Dinosaurs?

Are Birds Dinosaurs? Yes. Modern birds are living dinosaurs, specifically the only surviving members of the theropod dinosaur group. Scientists have found strong evidence linking birds to small, feathered theropods through fossils that show features such as feathers, wishbones, hollow bones, and three-toed limbs.

Over millions of years, some theropods developed adaptations for flight, lighter skeletons, and specialized wings. This gradual evolution eventually produced the diverse birds we see today, making every sparrow, eagle, and penguin a living part of the dinosaur family tree.
