My car broke down at midnight, is there anywhere that can help this late?
I'm writing this from the side of the road and honestly I'm in a bit of a panic right now because my car just completely died on me while I was driving home from a late shift at work. I was cruising along and suddenly the engine just cut out, no warning lights, no weird noises beforehand, just dead. I managed to coast to the shoulder but now I'm stuck here in the dark with a car that won't start and no idea what to do at this hour. I've tried calling a few numbers I found online but most places are closed or not answering at this time, which I guess is understandable but doesn't really help my situation. I'm not even sure if it's something simple like a dead battery or something more serious, but right now I just need to get the car somewhere safe and figure out a way to get home. I'm hoping there's somewhere that operates late or even 24 hours that can at least come out and take a look or tow the car somewhere secure until the morning. I've been trying to search for a 24/7 auto service in Abu Dhabi but I'm getting mixed results and I don't want to call some random number that ends up being a scam or charging me a fortune just to show up. Has anyone here ever had to deal with a breakdown late at night and found a reliable service that actually answers the phone? I really need some advice right now because I'm feeling pretty stranded and stressed out.
