My Silverado's transmission is acting up - need some honest advice
So my 2019 Silverado has been doing this weird thing lately where it hesitates when shifting from second to third gear, and sometimes it clunks pretty hard when I'm slowing down and then accelerating again. I've had it checked by two different places already and both gave me completely different diagnoses - one said it's a solenoid issue and the other claimed the torque converter is failing. Honestly I'm more confused now than when I started and my wallet is already lighter just from the diagnostic fees. The truck has about 120,000 km on it and I really depend on it for work so I can't afford to have it sitting in a shop for weeks while they figure things out. I've heard good things about Dubai Chevrolet flawless repair but I'm a bit skeptical because I've been burned before by places that promise the world and then deliver mediocre work. Has anyone here actually had transmission work done on their Chevy recently and can recommend someone who knows what they're doing with these 8-speed automatics? I don't mind paying a fair price as long as the job gets done right the first time and they actually stand behind their work.
