Transfer from Larnaca Airport to Protaras for large luggage
We’re flying to Protaras, Cyprus soon to go diving. We're bringing a lot of our own gear in large, heavy, and oversized bags. If anyone has experience with this, please advise on the best way to get from the airport to the resort with all our gear. We don't want to haggle with drivers near the terminal and pay triple the rate just because we have large bags. What are our options?
What if our flight is delayed at customs because they’re inspecting our gear? Do drivers wait for free in this case? Or, do we have to pay for every minute they wait? I’d like to find a reliable option where we can clearly outline everything when booking to avoid any stress.
Are you a professional diver or do you just dive for relaxation? I have heard they hold all kinds of diving events there. It is interesting, though I’ve never participated. My friends and I flew there last year with kites. By the way, you are absolutely right about taxis. A regular taxi from simply cant physically handle that kind of luggage.
