What do you do if Discord gets blocked?
Quote from Ken Hensley on 18/06/2026, 12:28 amHey guys, our customer support Discord account just got banned and we have no idea why. We weren't doing anything against the rules, just letting clients know about promotions and upcoming sales and answering their questions. Nothing else. Then out of nowhere the account's gone. Could someone have gotten in without us knowing and started sending spam, or is there something else that could cause this? We never got any notification about a login from a different location though. Any chance of getting the account back?

Quote from Jordan Larsson on 18/06/2026, 12:58 amDiscord's spam detection is pretty aggressive and it doesn't really distinguish between a business sending out legitimate updates and someone blasting random people with junk. If you were messaging a lot of users in a short period of time that's almost certainly what set it off. The other thing that can trigger it is if enough people marked your messages as spam without actually reporting the account directly, the system picks up on that too and just pulls the account automatically.

Quote from Andy Jackson on 18/06/2026, 1:05 amThe frustrating part is Discord rarely gives you a straight answer about what specifically triggered it, so you're left guessing on both the recovery and the prevention side. Here's an article on what to do when a Discord account gets suspended or banned and how to avoid it in the future: https://gologin.com/blog/the-easiest-way-to-run-multiple-discord-accounts/ . Worth reading through before you set the account back up so you're not right back in the same situation.
